Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to the Bus Booking Mobile Application (“the App”), operated by BusBooking (“we,” “our,” “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you (“User,” “Customer,” “Driver,” or “Admin”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

Definitions

1. Customer/User: A person booking tickets via the App.
2. Driver: Authorized personnel operating buses linked with the App.
3. Admin/Operator: The entity managing bus routes, schedules, fares, and overall platform operations.
4. Stop-to-Stop Fare: Ticket price calculated based on the passenger’s selected boarding and drop-off stops.
5. Service: Includes booking, seat selection, payment, notifications, tracking, and related features provided through the App.

Eligibility

1. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.
2. Users under 18 must seek parental/guardian consent.
3. You must provide accurate registration details and maintain account confidentiality.

Booking & Ticketing

• Tickets can be booked only through valid routes and schedules listed in the App.
• Fare Calculation: Ticket prices are determined strictly on a stop-to-stop selection basis as defined by Admin.
• Seat allocation is subject to availability for the chosen boarding and drop-off stops.
• Users must carry a valid booking confirmation (digital ticket/QR code) for boarding.

Payments

1. All payments must be made through authorized payment gateways integrated with the App.
2. Fares displayed at the time of booking are final and non-negotiable.
3. Invoices will include applicable taxes, charges, and fare details.
4. We are not responsible for issues arising from third-party payment providers.

Cancellations & Refunds

1. Cancellation policies are defined by Admin and may vary per schedule.
2. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to stop-to-stop fare rules and cancellation timelines.
3. No-show passengers (failing to board at their selected stop) are not eligible for refunds.
4. Service charges, if any, are non-refundable.

User Obligations

1. Provide accurate passenger details during booking.
2. Arrive at the boarding stop at least 10 minutes before departure.
3. Comply with driver and staff instructions during travel.
4. Not misuse the App for fraudulent or unauthorized activities.

Driver Obligations

1. Confirm passenger boarding at the designated stops via the Driver App.
2. Follow assigned route and schedule.
3. Ensure passenger safety and compliance with transport regulations.

Admin Rights & Responsibilities

1. Define routes, stops, schedules, and fares (including stop-to-stop pricing).
2. Manage cancellations, refunds, and dispute resolutions.
3. Suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of these Terms.
4. Modify service features, fares, or rules with or without prior notice.

Live Tracking & Notifications

1. Live bus tracking and notifications are provided as an additional service.
2. Accuracy of GPS/location may vary due to technical or environmental factors.
3. We are not liable for delays or discrepancies in tracking information.

Limitation of Liability

1. Travel services are subject to operator terms and government regulations.
2. We are not liable for delays, accidents, loss of baggage, or unforeseen disruptions during travel.
3. Our liability, if any, is limited to the booking amount paid for the specific ticket.

Intellectual Property

All content, designs, logos, and software in the App are the property of BusBooking. Users are granted a limited, non-transferable right to use the App solely for personal booking purposes.

Data Privacy

Personal information is collected and processed in line with our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to data usage for booking, notifications, and compliance requirements.

Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

1. Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the App.
2. Create multiple fake accounts for fraudulent bookings.
3. Resell or transfer tickets without authorization.

Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
